The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is a nonprofit technical and educational society organized in 1904 and is one of the world's leading authorities on concrete technology.
ACI is a forum for the discussion of all matters related to concrete and the development of solutions to problems.
ACI currently offers 17 different programs to personnel employed in the concrete construction industry.
Certification programs are now available for Aggregate Testing Technicians, Flatwork Finishers, Field Testing Technicians, Inspectors, Laboratory Testing Technicians, Shotcrete Nozzlemen, and Tilt-Up Supervisors.
Since 1980, ACI has administered exams to over 350,000 individuals, with over 90,000 certifications currently maintained by ACI.
ACI certification programs are administered by local sponsoring groups that must complete an approval process that ensures the group possesses the necessary resources and expertise to conduct the programs according to ACI policies.
Being the local sponsoring group of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for its certification program since 1996, ACTS has certified more than 1500 personnel in the Middle East and Africa.
The programs are conducted with the participation of international organizations such as ASTM, PCA (Portland Cement Association) and NRMCA (National Ready Mixed Concrete Association).
